June 22nd report

June 23, 2010

Lots of sails out there again. They are still not taking the baits good. A few marlin around. The water is sure heating up. We saw tons of huge seaweed patches yesterday, but only caught three dorado from them. Maybe they’ll start to attract the fish soon.

June 16th report

Busy fishing as always. Lots of sailfish out there. Ther are tricky to hook though. Some larger marlin are also showing. Tuna are making sporadic showings and the occassional catch. The dorado seem to be all the way on the other side. A couple fourth place finished in the last two tournaments, really tied for second but placing later due to time and just one fish away from winning. The weather has been nice and business good. Saw a great white feeding on a dead whale, swam with a whale shark the other day, and a hot pod of breaching sperm whales. Always something to see out in the ocean. I don’t think we went ten minutes yesterday afternoon without a fish in the spread. Some good sierra are around and the snorkeling is excellent. The town is pretty quiet. Hope to see you here this summer.

tight lines,

Bryan
